"24/7/365, not just a phrase, it was the Labor Day long weekend and we had confirmed with our customer they would need nothing further and we should be good until the middle of the next week. Then the phone rang, a plant down situation occurred. I called the IXF main line hoping someone would answer or I could leave a message and someone would call me back. The phone rang twice and I heard “how can I help you?” I said I needed someone in freight to call me back and she said “I am in freight. How can I help you?” Long story short, after looking at hot shot trucks, chartering an aircraft, etc. It turns out the best option was for Christa to meet the supplier at their warehouse. She ubered to the airport and got on a plane with the parts and met the consignee at the airport in Midland for delivery. Great forward thinking and very cost effective!!!"
